As a landlord, received a call from my Kijiji ad. Went through all of the preamble to schedule a viewing and at the end lets me know that she works for Royal York PM and has a client interested. They have to view the building first and then have their client come through. I then call the main office since that didn't make sense to me. When I was on the phone with their office I ask the direct question "there is no cost to me" and the answer was yes we don't work for free. So shady, why not just try to get the listing like the 10 other property managers I got a call from. Would not recommend them.

Currently still battling to get our $750 deposit back over a week ago for a unit that we were not accepted for constantly getting the runaround going to have to take legal action soon. I think this is ridiculous. Do not recommend this company at all at first they seem honest and reliable, but in the long run, it’s a joke. The communication is garbage And just all around a hard no! Renters beware! Also readers beware don’t listen to the garbage that they’re going to post after my review. It’s all a bunch of lies. I have all the emails. I have audio recordings of all the phone calls. I have everything to back up my issues with this company again horrible horrible experience do not recommend red flag

I would highly encourage all to stay away from this company. There have been missing and extremely delayed payments and clerical errors resulting in financial impact. They are mismanaging both tenants and owners and I don’t feel like they act with integrity or transparency with the 25 page contract being unclear about the 2 year contract, hidden fees and customer service representatives that avoid answering questions. The company has so far been the opposite of stress free, reliable and responsive support.

Melissa was super friendly and very accommodating to get us in to see a unit, though it was dirty. The leasing agents seem to be very pushy to get good reviews putting you on the spot to leave them a review before you leave the showing and want to take screenshots before you post.
