Very creepy. I mean she needs to know the name of my kids before she shows me a property? I own many rental properties and I never once ask for anything until after the person has seen the place and wants to apply to rent it. If you're afraid of meeting people in person before you know their SIN, driver's licence number, where they work, the names of their kids, etc, it's time to find a new job.

We used Donna Crane to sell our fathers home in Collingwood last fall and she was outstanding.

Before choosing a real estate agent, we conducted some research to see who would be the best choice in the Collingwood area. Royal LePage, Locations North was the Broker that was most praised by friends and acquaintances and I saw that they put a lot of work into their listings.
We sent an email to request someone contact us about selling. Within the hour, Donna Crane called.

We spoke with Donna and then met with her at the home. She spent hours answering our questions, providing some info regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing lots of info on the area and what to expect. Donna made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps to give us staging tips, having professional photographs taken for the listing, and a lot more.

When we saw our listing we were blown away. Donna’s hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing. Donna arranged some open houses for the weekend and we accepted an offer on the Monday, just 4 days after it was listed.
The offer was considerably more than the listing price, by more than 10%!

Donna walked us through every step of the whole process, from initial contact right through to the sale and beyond. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience.

I've recommended Donna Crane and Royal LePage, Locations North to everyone I know. Donna is a true professional and a genuinely nice person. You'd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor.

Recently, I posted a less then favourable review based on some inaccuracies that were perceived about a property that we were looking to purchase. There was a concern expressed to disclosure issues about land use in the proximity of the farm we were seriously looking at making a non-conditional offer on. After writing the review I quickly received notice from the brokerage owner seeking additional details so that he might be able to address my concerns with the appropriate sales team and to give explanation to comments.
Desmond was prompt to investigate things thoroughly and returned my call later that day. I had questioned why the sales agent had not told us about a large development where music concerts would be held on the adjacent property to the one we wanted to purchase. This would significantly impact the area and, in my opinion, decease the land valve and potential reason why one might want a country living. i did not believe this was new information since these projects require approvals at various levels of government and normally hold community consultations.
After the follow-up I scrutinized his findings by calling the Township, Nottawasaga conservation Authority, and the county to see about timelines and whether or not the sales agents could have known of this dynamic change. To my surprise, and it appears to everyone’s, there was indeed no way that the seller, sales team or brokerage could have known about this development back when the house was listed in the fall.
I wanted to both retract my poor review and reword one to give credit were credit is due. The owner of Royal Lepage North did not dismiss my concerns, but rather responded appropriately and quickly to looked into addressing my possible problems. I owe them an apology and thanks for both clarifying everything, not over-reacting to the negative review and extending me the opportunity (I was not asked) to rectify the inaccuracies listed in the review. This is a great business practice and I wanted everyone to know that. I’ve gone from unamused to overly impressed. Well done.

We have bought three homes with Cindy Ryerse from this Royal LePage office. I viewed our first condo from a listing I saw of hers and was impressed with Cindy right from first phone contact. This condo was used for a weekend retreat and Cindy being a local was able to share with us the value of the property and all that was great about Collingwood. We then decided to live here permanently and Cindy to the rescue found us our second home. She is so amazing. She makes sure that she understands your budget, your needs, likes and dislikes and doesn't waste any time showing properties that aren't a match. Needless to say when we decided to buy our third, I think she knew us so well by then that the first and only house she showed us in now our picture perfect home. The service she gives the customer is above and beyond. She knows everyone and has a roster at her fingertips of folks who can help complete the deal like lawyers, home inspectors or if you want renos done she knows all those guys too. Cindy pretty much is our google for buying and selling. Always a happy disposition and a willingness to do whatever the customer needs. I have recommended her to friends and family and they have the exact same feedback - Cindy Ryerse is a 10+ for sure!
