I recently used their website to book a viewing over the weekend. A few hours after I booked it, they automatically rescheduled it to a few days earlier and at a different time (during the week). On the automated email I received, I had the option to reschedule, which I did. I rescheduled for the weekend as I work during the week.
On the day of the booking, I got a text confirmation about the viewing, so I thought everything was okay. However, after waiting at the apartment for 20 minutes and calling every phone number I could find, nobody showed up or answered my calls.
The following Monday, someone reached out to tell me only managers can enter weekend viewings even though the website allows you to (this is not said anywhere on the site). This person also provided me with a phone number of someone who can schedule a weekend viewing.
When I called that person, he was short and redirected me to yet again ANOTHER NUMBER. I called that number, could not reach anyone and also could not leave a voicemail as the box was full.
Safe to say if it’s this difficult to book a viewing, it would be even more difficult if I had an issue while living here. Lost business, do not recommend!

I highly recommend against renting an apartment at 2880 Carling Avenue. The alarm went off all night - and it was Sunday. I left a message on the emergency line - because the kids were supposed to stay the next night. Stupid women took my requests - and did not respond in any way. No one cared. Don't even think about renting an apartment there!

Yesterday, I scheduled an appointment to visit a unit, but no one showed up and they didn't answer the phone. Today, they emailed me to reschedule the meeting!!!!!! After reading other reviews, it's clear that the tenants, office manager, and everyone else responsible for this building are completely irresponsible. I'm relieved I decided not to lease from them!

Just moved in a few days ago and was told I would have an elevator available for use but no one has it ready for the time that it was scheduled. Contacted the office but no one answered so it made it annoying for the residents to deal with us moving in. The communication is terrible since before I moved. I came to get my key, it took a full hour to get it making me late for a meeting because the employee didn’t know their staff was on vacation and one was here but not answering. There are issues here that were not here when I viewed the unit. The back of the bathroom door is falling apart, there’s a long telephone wire ripped out of the bedroom wall. I contacted main office and again no answer. They always seem to have their blinds closed which is a security issue due to them not being able to see who is coming in and out of the building. Not impressed. Rather than the main company not addressing issues and losing tenants, listen to their concerns so you keep business. People who put money in your pockets and that deal with pests which cause health concerns are important. Help the people who pay your bills.

It was not cleaned or painted properly. Toilet seat was not new. The heat don’t work properly. Was not move in ready. The bathtub didn’t drain for 3 more than 3 weeks. They painted inside the tub.

Metcap recently purchased my rental property, I assumed no one could be worse than the previous owners…..
BOY was I WRONG! The “managers” of this property don’t respond, maintenance gets pushed off and never completed (we were purchased in may and I have had NOTHING done it is now almost October)
Do NOT move into a mat so owned property if you want to maintain your sanity. You will be disappointed and end up doing everything yourself when you pay market rent (for terrible houses)
You WILL regret your life choices by having to deal with the brain dead people who “run” this so called operation. Then you will get blamed for not fixing the problems, that they are supposed to fix! (Ex my ceiling keeps leaking because the work was not done properly but it’s my fault I did not move to a better unit…. Even though I have lived here for 2 years!)
Edit to add:
When I raised my concerns to Vesna Anastasov (operations manager) I was told “Why don’t you just move”, instead of accepting they have been an awful company or anything actually helpful.

Never recommend this building.
When i asked to fix the washroom they said it's my responsibility and i have to do it on my expense.
Even i paid for last first and last, when i left i got a call from collection that need to pay extra and been charged another $1000.
Unbelievable. Such a terrible experience

So far, and though only almost 2 weeks, Metcap has taken over the property where I have been living for almost 11 years, and this is the 4th approx company to take over and the very first time having good experience trying to reach out to someone. They have been helpful and very courteous and the support line for back to me in less then 12 hours. So far it has been a refreshing pleasure and hope it continues. Thank you Metcap
