Very negative experience with this agency. They treat you as a prized customer until you sign the rental agreement. After that, they have nothing to gain by wasting time and effort into you; unless you involve the owner, then they put back on their smiley face and try to accommodate you so the owner doesn't complain.
Don’t forget that you are not their customer, the owners are. You are simply a one-month salary for them; they don't make the big bucks from you.
Our problem with them was that it took them close to 2 months, with us pushing and calling and screaming on the phone and threatening with legal action, for them to go to the bank and unblock our house warranty money.
Of course, no apology from the side of the agency, which is the reason why I write this review. I understand that the month of September is a busy one for rental agencies but not even an apology or assurances or deadlines is what was infuriating…
More info below on our experience for those interested:
This happened to us with this agency; we moved out from our apartment end of June. Of course we paid the month of July and August because the owner avoided replying to our notification email sent 3 months -1 day before exiting, due to it going to the “spam” folder and asking us to resend it 15 days later – just in time to make sure the deadline had been lost beyond any reasonable doubt).
Anyway, a month later we held a meeting with an agent and the owner to give back what the expert detailed as lost (who had done btw a really bad job at detailing all the missing items and the “damages” to the flat). The agent was randomly telling us whatever came to his head as “the official way to do this”, which of course was not the case (e.g. expert was supposed to send an exit report, which didn’t happen). Finally, when we reached an agreement with the owner (who played it as being magnanimous for not keeping any money for his sorry self), he informed the agent to go forward with the unblocking of the locked warranty money to our favour.
Imagine our surprise when, 2 weeks later, I contacted the agency and they had not started any process for unblocking our money + the agent had not even informed his colleagues that the owner had given the final ok.
After being ping-ponged from agent to agent (their excuse was “I am not the one who signs the unblocking, he/she is”) I finally managed to pass by their offices to pick up the signed documents (supposedly they were busy bees and not able to find 10 minutes to pick up their docs) . Needless to say that the signee didn’t event bother to come out and meet me or at least try to learn why we were so frustrated – that shows how little they thought of us. But even more to my astonishment, they had not prepared anything (despite being told on the phone that everything would be ready by the time I pass by) and started printing there and then… On top of that, the new agent (the first agent was too important to deal with our trivial issue and had ditched us) informed me (without a shame in the face) “oops we don’t have an updated copy ID of the owner, let's hope the bank doesn't give us problems"...
Following some more problems at the bank (due to outdated documents from the rental agency), a solution was found amongst them and the money was unblocked to our account.
