We were referred to Sam as we wanted a realtor who was familiar with the market in the tri-city area. We were first time homebuyers, very overwhelmed and clueless about the process. Due to that, we had an admittedly rocky start as we needed a lot of hand-holding. However, the end result speaks for itself. He managed to get us a dream home that both my fiance and I could compromise on (which was a difficult task since we were quite picky in different ways). We could never have imagined scoring such a perfect home in a tough market such as this one. We owe Sam a ton of credit since it was his negotiation skills that allowed us to put in and 'sell' the perfect offer and counter. Sam put in some serious work for us and remained incredibly flexible around our tricky schedules. There were times where we were losing hope, but he was always there to inspire us and encouraged us to keep going. At one point, he was even able to give us an incredibly unique opportunity using his connections, and while we did not go with that specific property- another couple like us would have deeply appreciated it.

Quite often, I grilled Sam with all sorts of questions left and right, and i was a little tough on him at times since I am understandably distrustful of realtors. He managed to answer a ton of our questions and kept us comfortable through the process even when we were struggling and deeply confused. Can't thank him enough for his efforts.

A word of advice for first time home buyers like us who would like to go with Sam. Make sure you give him lots of information to work with about your wants/needs, give him an initial list of properties you are interested in, and be clear with setting your expectations for his services. Once i was able to communicate to him that we needed some extra hand-holding, he stepped up immediately and gave us what we needed, and didn't stop until we had our accepted offer! Just ensure to do your own due diligence on your risk tolerance and keep educating yourself about homes and their potential problems. Hes here to sell the dream and keep you going while providing strategy advice, its up to you to define the dream and manage your risk.

This man earned our trust through his diligence, and we would definitely go with him again in the future.
